Camp Deer Lake 2018

It is so hard to believe it has been almost 9 months since I have last posted 😦 and we are already in the middle of February! Time is flying by!! So much has happened this past year and it is hard to keep up with everything and trying to find the time to post on the blog... so I am going to try my best to keep up with the time 😉 Maybe...
   Anyways, from where I left off back in June, the next big thing that was going on, at that time, was camp in August. The theme was "Soldiers Endure Hardness" from 2 Timothy 2:3. It was an Incredible time with friends and a week of Relaxing and getting away from the world. Praise the Lord two of our good friends, Hannah and Sarah Apple, were both saved during the week!! It is Amazing to see how God worked in my own personal life and in the life of my friends.

We have an Amazing group of counselors,works and Team Leaders who put their time and effort into making the week possible! It could Not be done without them! We also were able to have two of our Missionary families from both,Russia and Lithuania, join us for the week. I loved being able to grow and get to know more about the people we support as a church.

A lot has changed since our first year of running the camp back in 2016 (If you haven't read my 2017 camp post, you should go check it out)! I am so excited to see what these next few years bring and to see how it will grow!! Sadly, I only have this year and next year as a camper... How?! I look forward to serving as a counselor one day though! 
I can't wait till August!!

L ast week, three of my friends and I spent three days in Colonial Williamsburg! It was an amazing experience to be able to, not only read about, but to be apart and to interact with the people there! I know what you are thinking, three posts in just one week? What!? Lol.. It has been an adventurous few months. Now I am onto a new Adventure in life, as I am finally graduated!!  I had the opportunity to graduate with three of my friends (Notice the color coding..Red,White and Blue-That was NOT planned 😜) Nick,Bethany,Mandy and Me. The Welch family! Ryan,Amber,Bradley,Dad,Me,Mom,Brandon,and Katelyn! Of course I couldn't forget the adorable,Mia! Kindergarten graduation,2007 and then now.                 I am very excited to see what these next years ahead will hold!

The Puppy Pen

T his past October, Beth (Our Chocolate Lab) had her third litter of puppies. In the past, we had made a small Whelping Pen in our garage, which work out all right, but was still alot of work to keep up with and to make sure they never escaped. So, for this new litter, we knew we needed to improvise. We took our old Quail Pen and turned it into a Puppy Pen! It took a couple of days, but we were finally able to move it to our back yard.
